Full-Text Access

For articles published by Arctic, Antarctic, and Alpine Research, an Open Access option is offered that makes these papers available to everyone with internet access. After the author pays a small fee, articles are unlocked and may be read, downloaded, printed, or shared without charge by any reader. The only restrictions are that readers may not use these Open Access papers to make a profit without permission, and the contents of an Open Access article may not be incorporated into any new work without written permission from the publisher or a full appropriate citation.

Papers that have not been unlocked by our Open Access option are governed by our Fair Use policy, as follows. Readers may download or photocopy single copies of articles for their personal use. Systematic downloading or photocopying of several articles or entire issues of AAAR is not permitted. Incorporation of small parts of an article into another work is permitted only if the original author(s) and the journal are fully credited. Extensive copying of the contents of any article for use in another work is never permitted.
