GAAP - Graduate Application Assistance Program

We are current INSTAAR grad students who are here to help prospective grad students (like you?) move through the graduate application process. When you sign up for this free program, you’ll be matched with an INSTAAR grad student mentor from your department of interest who can answer questions and help you navigate the process. Anyone who intends to apply to an INSTAAR-affilated department is welcome. We look forward to lending an eye, ear or hand to your application process!

Applicants interested in applying to the Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (ATOC) department can sign up for the ATOC-specific membership program; or sign up for GAAP instead if you're interested in ATOC plus other INSTAAR departments. All are welcome; and we especially encourage applicants from underrepresented and non-traditional academic backgrounds to use these resources.

Mentorship is provided on a first-come, first-serve basis throughout the year to assist with the entire application process. To be paired with a GAAP mentor, click the button below!
