Simulated prograding delta

The SedFlux3D Project

SedFlux3d is a process-response numerical model used to simulate the filling of marine sedimentary basins. It builds on 2D-SedFlux which simulates basin filling in two dimensions. River sediment load is provided by the HydroTrend module. This sediment is distribued by a hypopycnal Plume. River distributary avulsions are modeled statistically; the subaerial delta is not explicitly modeled.

At present we are working on implementing a ray-tracing based wave computation module for implementing longshore sediment transport.
