Environment and Energy Building Complex

INSTAAR is leading an effort to build a new laboratory facility on the CU-Boulder campus that will bring together university units and federal labs in a collaborative, state-of-the-art setting.

Your support will fund a home for INSTAAR and other university units including:
- CIRES, Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences.
- ATOC, Atmospheric & Oceanic Sciences.
- ENVS, Environmental Studies Program.
- RASEI, Renewable & Sustainable Energy Institute.
- CAW, Center for the American West.
as well as groups from three federal labs:
- NOAA Paleoclimatology Program.
- USGS, United States Geological Survey.
- NREL,National Renewable Energy Laboratory.

Researchers and students will benefit from the scientific power, new research directions, and broadened perspective afforded by working together on interdisciplinary problems.
