Student support is available for a limited number of graduate student presenters. Support includes registration fee, meals, and hotel (but not travel). We will post a note here when the limited number is reached.
Grad Party. Pizza and beer will be provided on Thursday Evening, 11 March at INSTAAR (RL-1, rm 269).

Assistance
Financial assistance is available for a limited number of graduate students from any country giving a talk or presenting a poster thanks to support from the National Science Foundation (Arctic Natural Sciences Program). Graduate student presenters can register for *free* and will be reimbursed for the following expenses after the workshop:
- Meals, for up to 4 days on a per diem basis (up to $20 /student/day, dinner provided on Thurs & Fri, breakfast and lunch on Fri. Reservations at Best Western Boulder Inn include a complimentary breakfast each morning).
- Motel/hotel charges, shared occupancy, for up to 4 nights (up to $50/student/night).
There is *no* support available for travel expenses.
Instructions
- Register and submit your abstract before the 22 February abstract deadline.
- Complete and send a tax form by 26 February.
- Reserve your Hotel/Motel room. See student-specific lodging details below.
- Check in at the Workshop; you will be given a reimbursement form.
- Pay for your meals; you will be reimbursed on a per diem basis. There is no need to keep food receipts.
- Submit your signed reimbursement form and original lodging receipt by either (a) leaving with Workshop staff on last day of workshop, or (b) mailing after the end of the Workshop and arriving at INSTAAR by no later than 24 April. Late arrivals will not recieve their reimbursement. A reimbursement check will be sent to you a few weeks after your form and receipt are received.

Lodging Details
You can take a room at any hotel but are expected to share the room and will only be reimbursed up to $50/student/night. If making hotel/motel reservations at the Best Western Boulder Inn, be sure to state that you are a student attending the 36th Arctic Workshop to get the special rate. When checking in to your hotel, request separate receipts for your shared occupancy room or you risk losing your lodging support. Pay for your lodging; you will be reimbursed.
If you are traveling by yourself to the workshop and need a roommate to share hotel costs, please email ArcticWS@colorado.edu and we will attempt to connect you with others looking for a roommate. Let us know your situation (non-smoking vs. smoking, male vs. female, etc.)

- Send your completed form by 26 February
- Send your form by fax (303-492-3287), email (must include signature; ArcticWS@colorado.edu), or regular mail.

- Type your information and save to your computer (requires a recent verison of the free Adobe Reader program).
- Follow specific instructions listed on form and the key points below.
- Complete the self explanatory blocks above Part I on this form.
- Enter your social security number under Part I, Taxpayer Identification Number.
- Sign your name and date this form under Part II, Certification.
