Thursday icebreaker - 12 November

Thursday evening (5 - 8 pm) at INSTAAR in building RL-1 rm 269.

Keynote speaker

Dr. Douglas Anderson(Brown University) will be giving the keynote address on "Current problems in Arctic Archaeology."

Main sessions - Friday 13 November and Saturday 14 November

The presented papers and posters will be given during these two days.

Facility tours

Tours will include a visit to INSTAAR’s AMS 14C radiocarbon preparation laboratory. We will post the schedule soon.

Check-In

Thursday evening or Friday morning

Check in during the Icebreaker on Thursday evening (5 - 8 pm) at INSTAAR in building RL-1 rm 269 or at the start of the conference on Friday morning (8 - 8:30 am; building still to be determined). See Maps for locations. At check-in, you will receive a packet including a printed Program and Abstracts volume, and other materials.

Giving a talk?

If possible, please load your PowerPoint presentations onto our mac or PC computer during the Thursday evening Icebreaker. Although there are additional opportunities to upload files on Friday morning and during breaks, these time slots are short.

Giving a poster?

Please put up your poster as early as possible, preferably during the Thursday evening Icebreaker. You will be given a poster location when you check-in. Thumbtacks will be available. We would like posters to stay up as long as possible during the workshop. Thanks.
