Full title: "What do moraines tell us about paleo-glaciers and paleoclimate? A case study from the Colorado Front Range"
Leif will walk you through his recent modeling effort, which sought to identify the equilibrium glacier extent of the Last Glacial Maximum glaciers skirting Longs Peak. His results have surprising implications for the extraction of climate from paleo-glacier geometries and the meaning of equilibrium-line altitudes derived from terminal moraines.
