Although much of INSTAAR's computing resources are purchased, managed, and maintained by individual PI's and research groups, the Institute does share considerable resources, which are discussed in three web pages here. Shared resources include basic support from the Systems/Network administrator for issues such as ethernet connections, installations, and troubleshooting. Shared resources also include offerings from the Environmental Computing and Imaging Facility (ECI) such as inexpensive accounts on unix supercomputers and access to poster printing, scanning, and other equipment.
