Engagement

For undergraduates

We are involved with the Student Association for the Society of Ecological Restoration (SER-CU), designed to connect undergraduate students to real restoration work and training alongside Front Range nonprofit groups. Download a flyer with more information.

For teachers and K-12 students

We have developed two curricular units called Biotic Change on the Front Range: Weeds and Weevils. They include hands-on elements that teachers can use to introduce their students to plant and insect life cycles, native and introduced plants, and ecosystems in their own backyards. Both units meet Colorado Life Science and Data Analysis, Statistics, and Probability standards.
