Nature has just produced the first issue of Nature Geoscience, a monthly journal bringing together research, reviews, and commentaries across the entire spectrum of the earth sciences.
Like its sister publications, such as Nature Biotechnology and Nature Physics, Nature Geoscience is available online through the CU Library system. It hasn't yet been added to Chinook as an individual record, so you won't find it by browsing the catalog. For now, go straight to the journal's site to read the first issue. [update: Chinook has added Nature Geoscience as an individual record - 02/2008]
Don't miss two items by our own Tim Bartholomaus, Robert Anderson, and Suzanne Anderson: the article "Response of glacier basal motion to transient water storage" and a backstory page on getting the data "Midnight glacier hikes."
