Research Interests

  • Stable isotopes in precipitation.

More Info

My research areas include the measurements of stable isotopes in precipitation to help to track water movement through the hydrologic cycle. In collaboration with collegues at Colorado State University, we are funded by NSF to analyze the spatial and temporal trends of the stable isotopes of precipitation from samples takend at over 60 National Acid Deposition Program (NADP) sites, distributed over the continental United States and Alaska. Several sites will be examined for 15 years of isotopic data.
