This zipfile holds the Python systems and extensions required for running:
dbSEABED             carbo*            hurriSlip		LithNet

The Python version being used is 2.7 . Version 3.0 has a number
of serious incompatibilities but 2.7 is still in development and support.

The purpose of pythonInstallables is to 'stage' these software and Python 
so that that upgrades will not be continually necessary.

The folder for Python doesnt matter to dbSEABED, though it expects
full and normal environment variable values. The ESRI Python installation
appears to not meet that requirement. See blogs for details.
Python 2.7 normally installs in c:/Python27 .

Every so often (about 2 years) the entire set of these INSTAAR codes
will be upgraded to work with the latest Python.

for instructions on how to install Python and it's extensions,
whether they are .msi, .exe or other.
