We are having our fall informational meeting for the Hydrologic Sciences Graduate Program on Tuesday, September 17.
Our interdisciplinary and interdepartmental program is designed to provide collaborative research opportunities between the different science-related departments and organizations at CU. We offer an MS/PhD certificate for graduate students while completing their degree in one of our participating departments: Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Studies, Geography, Geology, and Water Resources Engineering (and a PhD sub-plan option for some depts). We emphasize community and engagement between students, faculty, and other professionals to further support advancements in hydrologic research.
At the meeting we will give an overview of the program and the application process for the MS/PhD certificate and PhD sub-plan. The co-directors, Dr. Mike Gooseff and Holly Barnard, and Sabre Duren will be there to answer questions about the program.
Anyone interested is encouraged to attend. Pizza and refreshments provided!
