Student participation is a vital component of our Workshop.
Financial assistance is available for a limited number of students from any country giving a talk or presenting a poster thanks to support from the National Science Foundation (Arctic Natural Sciences Program). Note that we cannot support as many students as in recent years, so submit your abstract early.
Supported Student presenters will be provided with the following:
Sorry, but there is no support available for travel expenses (flights, shuttles, etc).
Sorry, but there is no support available for Student Presenters after our free slots are gone.
An informal "pizza and beer" type party for all students will be provided on Wednesday Evening, 7 March (time and location to be determined; probably either at Hotel or in nearby village).

We have had a number of cancellations, and some slots are available.
And do so as soon as possible. Support is limited, so check the Status section above. It's possible that our limited number of slots will fill before the abstract deadline.
Registration is not sufficient to ensure your slot; you must submit an abstract too. And you must submit before we run out of slots.
You must share a double room at the Winter Park Hotel; there is no lodging support for other hotels. After registering AND submitting your abstract, email arcticws@colorado.edu with details about your lodging situation:
Free lodging is not assured unless you email arcticws@colorado.edu by the deadline. After that date, the free lodging will be offered only if rooms in our "block" are still available.
Check in during the Icebreaker on Tuesday evening or at the start of the conference on Wednesday morning.
