Student participation is a vital component of our Workshop.
Some slots are available.
Financial assistance is available for a limited number of students from any country giving a talk or presenting a poster thanks to support from the National Science Foundation (Arctic Natural Sciences Program). Note that our support budget is more limited than last year. So submit your abstract early. First come, first served.
Supported Student Presenters will be provided with the following:
Sorry, but there is no support available for hotel costs. We encourage students to share a room. If you need help finding a roomate to reduce expenses, please email ArcticWS@colorado.edu. For more hotel info, see Lodging
Sorry, but there is no support available for travel expenses (flights, shuttles, etc). You might want to check whether your home institution can help defray such expenses.

And do so as soon as possible. Support is limited, so check the Status section above. It's possible that our limited number of slots will fill before the abstract deadline.
Registration is not sufficient to ensure your slot; you must submit an abstract too. And you must submit it before we run out of slots.
Check in during the Reception on Sunday evening or at the start of the conference on Monday morning.
An informal "pizza and beer" type party for all students will be provided on Monday Evening, 11 March (time and location to be determined; probably either at or near Hotel).
The party will be a meetup co-sponsored by the Association of Polar Early Career Scientists (APECS). Representatives from the NE USA APECS Chapter will highlight opportunities such as mentorship, collaboration, and career guidance.
